Eduardo Mascarell Gurumeta

Eduardo Mascarell is a Spanish Industrial Engineer. He has developed his professional career in the electrical sector in many different areas and cities in Spain, like La Coruña, Santander, Barcelona and Madrid. He was involved in the beginning of the electrical market liberalization in the Retailer Company of Endesa, Endesa Energy. After that he joined Union FENOSA to deploy the standardization of international electrical distribution projects in the Caribbean area (Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panamá, Dominican Republic and Colombia). He later on, leaded the Office of Applus in Cantabria and Asturias in many different areas of Distribution, considering Protections, Predictive Maintenance, Project’s Legalization, Low Voltage Grid Adquisition Data and supervision of projects in MV and HV. This recent years, he has participated in Barcelona in the promotion of innovative projects in the Innovation Area of Endesa, in the HV Substations collaborating with Endesa Distribution, with special enphasis in Substation Monitoring and the Basis Plan of Reliability Centered Maintenance.

In this last period, now in Madrid, he is directly involved in the Development and Promotion of the Electrical Vehicle, Storage of Energy projects and Smart City within the Research, Technological Development and Innovation Unit of Endesa.
